Learn to love yourself with Maddy Liew

Sustainable, simple habits that will transform how you see and treat yourself

Learn to love yourself with Maddy Liew

“I have no discipline. I feel like I failed myself.”
“I need to eat healthier, but I don't know where to start.”
"I just cannot seem to find the motivation."

Do these sound familiar? You’re not alone. I’ve been there, and I can help you transform how you feel about yourself, and your approach to exercise and food.

Before I had kids, I enjoyed working out. I did races, marathons, and CrossFit. Every day was a joy.

Then I had my first child, and over time, I felt neglected and lonely. I tried to patch up the bad feelings with shopping and manicures, but I wasn’t addressing the real problem.

I was unhappy because I felt like as a mom, everybody else’s needs came first. I had to put my own needs in the freezer.

This wasn’t always the case

I’m Maddy.

I stopped exercising. I stopped eating properly. I wore loose clothing that hid my body’s shape. One night, five years into motherhood, I stood naked in front of the mirror — I realized I had avoided looking at my body since I had given birth.

I had refused to believe my body had changed. I was ashamed and disgusted with it. I immediately texted my CrossFit trainer, asking her if I could go back.

Exercise was just the first step. I had to learn to eat well — not less — and change my pattern of negative self-talk. It took seven years for my body to regain its shape, but I’ve kept it ever since.

It’s possible to accept and love who you are again.

I’m a working mum who has managed to find time to eat well and stay fit.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

Don't Simply take MY
word for it

Lusi Aripin

I'm so blessed that you have taken me under your wings. I feel truly fortunate to have you as my coach. Your generous support and incredible patience have helped me through many challenges.

A Grateful Mum

Kids seeing me eat nutritious food and taking care of myself is more powerful than me simply nagging at them on the importance of health. Even my husband is keen to try my quick healthy breakfasts.

Li Xuan

We debunked my conditioned belief that wanting to be slimmer is me being inauthentic to my love for myself.

I started to focus more on my strength, vitality and feeling good about the food I feed myself!

Katrine Zhang

In my follow-up call with Maddy, She celebrated with me as I had not only reached but surpassed my goals. This success has shifted something inside me. Maddy’s insights into fat loss and self-motivation for exercise resonated deeply, highlighting that much of the power lies within my choices. This is a blindspot i would never see without her guidance.

I’m deeply grateful to Maddy for simplifying these concepts, allowing me to face my fears, and encouraging honesty with myself. This coaching experience has been much more than just about food and exercise; it has been about finding a new perspective, one that empowers me to make choices that honor my body and my happiness.

I can’t meet people’s expectations.

I tried all diets, nothing works.

I’m so stressed out today.
I deserve some ice cream.

I wish I could believe that I don’t have to do everything by myself, and that not everything needs to be done today — but I can’t.

I have lots of social engagements that require me to eat and drink. But I don’t blame these situations — I blame my lack of self-control.

I will never lose weight, so I might as well eat as much as I want.

It’s not my fault I have no time and energy to exercise. Work has been so overwhelming.

My life revolves around my kids and my husband. I don’t have time to think about myself.

I clearly need boundaries, even with my family.

My responsibilities keep piling up, especially since my husband isn’t helpful.

How can I be honest with myself without feeling ashamed?

I only have myself to blame for my weight gain and lack of energy.

How can I help?

I ate too much today. I need to walk 20,000 steps and work out for two hours right now.
